Telehealth is becoming more and more popular. It has been successfully used for some time. Telepractice is a convenient way to receive speech-language therapy on your computer, in the comfort of your home while saving time.
Sessions are conducted through a secure and protected telepractice platform.
You can participate in sessions as long as you have internet access and a desktop, laptop, a tablet, or even your smartphone! If you wish, I can always come out for the first couple of sessions to set everything up and show you how it works.
Very often, people that require speech therapy, need to watch the therapist's face to know what cues to follow. Due to COVID-19, masks must be worn for in-person visits. This can interfere with the session, especially for the people who are hard of hearing or need to follow the therapist's facial cues closely. All these difficulties can be eliminated in teletherapy.
